Well, I guess I’m starting my own blog. I’m way more into science and riding then writing, so I apologize in advance for poor grammar and typing errors! Please check back often for news and updates about what’s happening with AC Eventing.

I’m really looking forward to the New Year. 2010 was one of the worst years of my life and I’m trying to keep my chin up and march forward into a new year with renewed hope. After the Boyd Martin clinic last weekend I’m working on some new plans for 2011. Boyd is an amazing rider and coach. He is the kindest person and made me feel like I could “live the dream” if I worked hard and didn’t give up on myself or my horse. It also helps to have an amazing partner and I truly believe in Safari. I know he can do a three star; I just need to create the right ride for him. Boyd said that doing a three star could “change your life” and that will be my new goal for 2011.

So I’m tentatively making plans for a trip south this early spring to start the season in CA. Nothing official yet, but check back to see where this adventure is headed. I still have a lot of funding to do before I can mail any entries off.

I would also like to take a moment to thank Willow Brook Pony Club and Fox Hills Pony Club for their generous donation towards my trip to the NE National meeting in Virginia in March. The funds will pay for my hotel and meals while at the seminar. I have to cover all my costs while at the seminar because I’m still an apprentice for the NE program. I only have one more HB rating to apprentice and then I will be an official National Examiner for C-3/HB national ratings!
